On April 19, 2012, members of the Onteora DECA chapter visited Parish Hall in Phoenicia to host a celebration honoring the senior citizens in the district.  The DECA students worked with members of Phoenicia Rotary decorating, cooking, serving and cleaning up.

Three Onteora students trekked off to Salt Lake City on April 28th to compete, joining 19,000 other students who converged on Salt Lake City to take part in this thrilling event.

Forty-four pints of blood were collected from high school donors on April 23^rd.  Each unit of blood helps save 3 lives!

Advanced Marketing students competed in writing an article to be published in the Consumer Jungle Talk e-magazine on the University of Arizona’s website. 

Shamrocks are being sold for $1 and will be posted in the 28 hallway.  Members of National Honor Society will be selling shamrocks during both senior high school  lunches.

Three Onteora High School students will be performing in the State Capitol on Monday, March 5, 2012 as members of the prestigious All-State Vocal Jazz Ensemble. 

February 11^th fourteen members of the High School Science Olympiad team competed in the Mid-Hudson Regional Competition at Ulster County Community College.   

Onteora DECA Coats for Kids program chairperson, Nick S., Griffin G., Michael S., and the coats committee assisted in collecting many coats.

Mr. Prutzman’s law enforcement classes recently attended the New York State Trooper K9 training academy in Cooperstown, NY.
