High School

The song we performed was nothing short of stunning.  Besides a wonderful musical experience, it gave the kids a chance to see the college music program up close.  There were several Onteora alums performing with us: David Inge, Geneva Turner, Robert Lovaglio-Emery, Michael DeSisto, and Randi Westervelt.  Ron Westervelt and Karen McKenna played in the band, too!

The fall blood drive netted 45 units from students and staff at the high school. This drive ran until 7 pm to accommodate people coming later in the day. Due to Storm Sandy, there were many cancelled blood drives which will result in a shortage during the holiday season.

Chairperson, Jonathan L. and Andrew F. were pleased with the results as this was their first time chairing the OCS DECA Blood drive. First year DECA members manned the cantines, escort and registration tables.
