Superintendent Jim Hanstein, UC Law Enforcement Center presented to the students his history with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies. He spoke about careers in the law enforcement field. In addition, he thrilled the students with his experiences throughout his career.
The last guest presenter for the year, Officer Matt Bogart demonstrated the latest in protective equipment in the law enforcement field. Two students demonstrated the equipment and were amazed to find how heavy the personal protection equipment was. Officer Bogart is a member of the USERT Team, SERT and Dive Team; UC Sherriff’s Honor Guard and former US Marine. He discussed opportunities in the specialty areas of law enforcement.
