The Spinning Wheel:
- 27 years: 2, 3, 4 – years were multi-age
- 2 years: AIS Math
Fondest Teaching Memories:
Wow – too many to narrow down to one! Hugs; drawings; fun projects; sharing my most-loved books with kids who were hearing them for the first time; appreciative notes and words from many wonderful parents; and having the pleasure of spending my days with so many beloved students.
Biggest Debacle:
Once again, there have been too many to recount, but thankfully fewer than the fond ones. One that stands out is the time we tried a new craft as a holiday gift. We were making wreaths out of cardstock circles and green-dyed rice. We glued all of the rice onto the cardstock and let it dry overnight, with plans of wrapping the wreaths the next day. Well, the next day when we picked up the wreaths to wrap and send home, every single grain of rice fell off the cardstock! Quick! What’s Plan B?
Plans for Retirement:
- Breathe.
- Home projects.
- To go wherever the retirement road takes me.
Other: It's been a great ride! Thanks for the memories everyone. I will cherish them forever!
