Thank you for this very generous donation that will help provide a brighter holiday to the less fortunate children in our district.  OTA has been a key contributor to this program for many years.

Donations from the Woodstock Elementary Staff, OCS high school staff, retired OCS staff and a special annual donation from a generous custodial employee, OCS DECA alumni, parents and community members helped to raise $2,825! Thank you to all the donors!

The telethon was broadcast live throughout the district on OCSTV.  Entertainment included: Mr. Boyer’s Elementary Band, Mrs. Boyer’s Strings Orchestra, Mrs. Cayea’s Sounds of Jazz, Mr. Murphy’s Jazz Band, Mr. Grady’s Senior High Acting Club, Mr. Grady’s sons played the cello, guitar and sang, solo musical presentations ; African Drumming by Sella Rega and an impromptu dance by the MC’s and OCS DECA stage crew.  Thank you to all!  Great job!

MC’s for the evening were Danielle Barringer, OCS DECA Co-president, Jonathan Loizou, Co-president, Dyan Serfis, Co-vicepresident, Jeremiah Tart, co-vice president and Sella Rega, 1st year DECA member.

Advisors Miss Caprotti and Mrs. Douglas were very pleased with all the acts and the DECA students who ran the event.  Behind the scenes DECA members:  manning the phones were Becca Castellano, Avery Maillet, Grace Miller (runner) assisted by Mrs. L. Adler; Stage Crew and setup: Nick Smith, Michael Smith, Griffin Gramzow, Steven Tilinghast, James McCutcheon, Ryne Perry and Hayden LaMotte.

Special thanks to OCS custodial crew, Mr. Epstein and Mr. Garland for the broadcast, and Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Cayea for helping with setup.
